{"id":18950,"date":"2026-10-13T17:26:07","date_gmt":"2026-10-13T15:26:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bto.travel\/speaker\/giovanni-angelucci\/"},"modified":"2026-10-29T16:47:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-29T14:47:07","slug":"giovanni-angelucci","status":"publish","type":"speakers","link":"https:\/\/www.bto.travel\/en\/speaker\/giovanni-angelucci\/","title":{"rendered":"Giovanni Angelucci"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Giovanni Angelucci is a journalist, TV host, sommelier, and food critic who specializes in travel reporting.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He studied at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Piedmont, which shaped him into who he is today: a gastronome who tastes the world.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2012, after gaining experience on the editorial staffs of Slow Food and Gambero Rosso, he has been working full-time as a freelance journalist. Accustomed to traveling constantly around the world, he specializes in the cuisine (and more) of Latin America, which he has explored almost in its entirety. Today he lives in Milan\u2014or rather, he\u2019s based there\u2014contributes to restaurant and wine guides, and writes for some of the industry\u2019s most influential newspapers and magazines, including Vanity Fair, Gambero Rosso, Mixer, and Reporter Gourmet.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She has also contributed to the newspapers *Dove*, *La Stampa*, *Vogue*, *Gazzetta dello Sport*, *Italia a Tavola*, *Tgcom24*, and *Il Sole 24 Ore*.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He created and hosts the TV show \u201cMangio Tutto Tranne\u201d for Gambero Rosso Channel, and works as a food expert and critic on \u201cPatti Chiari\u201d \u2013 RSI (Swiss Radio and Television), is a university professor teaching the \u201cFood and Communication\u201d course at the University of Teramo (Gastronomic Sciences and Cultures for Sustainability), has spoken at TEDx Pescara, and has received major awards such as the Kyle Prize (Tuscan Food, Wine, and Agri-Food Press Association, \u201cYoung Food Journalist of the Year\u201d) and the Gianni Fossati Journalism Award from the Italian Academy of Cuisine.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He specializes in food and wine journalism; he has visited 110 countries around the world, and travel is at the heart of his existence\u2014an essential part of a happy life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":16518,"template":"","class_list":["post-18950","speakers","type-speakers","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":{"azienda":"Vanity Fair, Gambero Rosso, Mixer, Reporter Gourmet","email":"angelucci.redazione@gmail.com","ruolo":"Food & Wine and Travel Journalist","bidir_speaker_event":[18534],"social_linkedin":"","ordinamento":"Angelucci","modalita_partecipazione":"In presenza"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Giovanni Angelucci | Speaker BTO 2026<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Giovanni Angelucci is a speaker at BTO 2026, 10-11 November at Stazione Leopolda, Florence.
