Zakia is the founder and CEO of Invisible Cities, a social enterprise that trains people who have experienced homelessness to become walking tour guides in their own cities.
Since launching in 2016, she has expanded the initiative across the UK, using storytelling to challenge perceptions and create positive social impact.
Originally from France, Zakia has worked internationally in homelessness and community engagement, earning recognition from National Geographic, The BBC and the broader travel industry.
As Invisible Cities launches in Aberdeen with the support of Royal Foundation and Homewards, she continues to champion sustainable tourism and giving people new skills and opportunities to have their voices heard.
