Halil Korkmaz is a tourism executive, investor and entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience across hospitality, tour operations, destination marketing and tourism investment.
He spent 17 years in Moscow, where he managed tour operations and charter flight consolidation across Russia and the CIS markets.
From 2008 to 2013, he contributed to Türkiye’s tourism promotion, branding, media strategy and communication campaigns across 24 countries on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
A campaign developed for Russia and the CIS was recognized by UN Tourism for excellence in European tourism communication.
From 2014 to 2023, he served as Chairman of Molton Hotels, gaining extensive experience in hotel management and hospitality investment.
He has also held senior roles within Istanbul’s tourism ecosystem, including ICVB, TUGEV and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. Today, he continues to work at the intersection of tourism, hospitality, investment and international destination development.
