Stefania Ippoliti directs the Media Library and the Cinema Division of Fondazione Sistema Toscana, the agency of the Region of Tuscany responsible for implementing regional policies aimed at promoting film culture and the audiovisual industry.
Stefania Ippoliti is in charge of Mediateca Toscana’s activities related to the preservation and promotion of its archives, as well as the film literacy program for schools, Lanterne Magiche. Since 2006, she has directed the Toscana Film Commission, and since 2016, she has directed Cinema La Compagnia in Florence, a theater entirely dedicated to screening documentary films as well as hosting international film festivals held in Florence.
It oversees the regional infrastructure project for the audiovisual sector, known as Manifatture Digitali Cinema, which hosts productions at film hubs and offers specialized training courses for professionals and trades in the sector.
From 2014 to 2019, she served as president of Italian Film Commissions, the national association of film commissions from Italy’s regions.
