Daniele Manetti has been Director of the Italian Office of VISITFLANDERS, the official tourism organization for Flanders, since January 2026. He coordinates efforts to promote and position the destination in the Italian market by developing marketing strategies and collaborations with tour operators, institutions, and cultural partners.
He has over twenty years of experience in the tourism industry, gained at leading international companies. Before joining VISITFLANDERS, he served as Sales Director for Destinations & Corporate at Sojern, where he was responsible for various European markets, and as Senior Market Manager at Expedia Group, where he held positions of increasing responsibility.
He began his career in revenue management at Alitalia/Air France-KLM in Paris, and later continued at Accor Hospitality as a cluster revenue manager.
His professional career combines expertise in marketing, digital innovation, destination development, and business relationship management, with a particular interest in the evolution of the tourism sector, new market dynamics, and the creation of value through tourism.
