Michele Angiolini was born in Torrita di Siena (SI) on May 29, 1972. He earned a law degree from the University of Siena. In 2009, he was elected to the Montepulciano City Council. From 2014 to 2019, he served as a city councilor. Elected mayor of Montepulciano for the first time in May 2019, he was re-elected mayor in the June 2024 election.
President of the Amiata Senese and Val d’Orcia – Valdichiana Senese Health Authority.
Since November 2019, he has served as the ANCI Tuscany delegate for tourism.
