Thanks to MACCA, Peccioli and its surrounding area have become an open-air museum, and the growing public interest led the town to win, in 2024, the title of “Borgo dei Borghi” (a RAI3 television contest) and the award for “Italy’s Most Beloved Village” at the Tourism Oscars.
