Roberto Vitali is the CEO and co-founder of Village for all – V4A®, the accessible hospitality network that has been in operation since 2008 and now operates in Italy and Croatia with over 100 accommodations.
For more than thirty years, he has been working in the field of accessible tourism with one firm belief: people with accessibility needs are not a niche market to be “managed.”
They are travelers who make choices, and to make those choices, they need objective and transparent information.
He co-developed the patented V4AInside™ software and the Destination4All® model, which extends this approach from individual facilities to the entire destination, with applications in Cortina, Bibione, Jesolo, and Peccioli.
He works with public administrations, regional governments, and institutions, and has served as a consultant to the government’s Special Commissioner for the Paralympics. He was the first to bring accessible hospitality to national digital tourism channels.
On Italia.it, V4A® is featured with the Destination4All® guides and a search engine for accessible accommodations.
The Tourism Digital Hub (TDH) has published a training course open to all Italian tourism professionals.
