Dr. Giuseppe Salvini has been Secretary General of the Florence Chamber of Commerce since March 2020 and is also Director of the special agency Promofirenze. He served as Secretary General of the Arezzo–Siena Chamber of Commerce from 2018 to March 2020. From 2017 to 2018, he served as Acting Commissioner, appointed by the Ministry of Economic Development to oversee the merger of the Arezzo and Siena Chambers of Commerce.
Since 2001, he has served as Secretary General of the Arezzo Chamber of Commerce and Director of the Special Agency “Formazione Aretina FO.AR,” as well as the Special Agency SAGOR, the body responsible for certifying the fineness of precious metals.
He currently serves as a council member with the role of auditor at the Bank of Italy’s Arezzo branch and as a member of the National Committee for DOP and IGP Wines, based at the Ministry of Agricultural, Food, Forestry, and Tourism Policies in Rome.
Over the years, he has held numerous positions in various capacities.
