[OPENING] Offbeat Tribes

Two world-class keynote speeches featuring Michel Maffesoli, one of the most influential contemporary sociologists and a theorist of “neo-tribes,” to explore how new forms of belonging, identities, and fluid communities emerge today; and Anne Kirah, an internationally renowned design anthropologist and pioneer of human-centered design, to explore “Offbeat”: unexpected behaviors, non-conformists, and exceptions that often foreshadow change.

How do you identify new tribes as they emerge, even before they can be defined, segmented, and measured? Two complementary perspectives for getting to the heart of Offbeat Tribes.
